Lessons for beginners, or those who are a little rusty. This is a much more enjoyable way for you to learn and we believe it also makes for a happier horse.

From meandering along the banks of the nearby River Till to galloping in the heather on the stunning Cheviot Hills and cantering along the clean, white beaches of Holy Island we have a full range of rides and instruction to excite those of all skill levels.

All Inclusive Teenage Residential Riding Holidays

Are you a teenager looking for a fun-filled week?

We can offer you residential accommodation, over looking the stables and the horses' fields. We only have room to have two teenagers at a time and it is a shared bedroom. We encourage you to help care for the horses and ponies as well as ride. Our aim is to improve your riding skills and knowledge, while having a good time. Lessons are available. However, we tend to put the emphasis on hacking out, as most people seldom get the opportunity to learn and ride in such fantastic countryside.

Spend a week (or longer!) experiencing the various treks and riding lessons of your choice, by our experienced instructors, with all skill levels catered for and all rides at a discount price.

• Hill rides with breathtaking views on the Cheviot Hills.

• Beach rides along Holy Island's amazing expanse of beautiful beach.

• All skill levels and group sizes catered for, with experienced instructors for instructional rides if requested

• We can cater for every rider, from the complete beginner to the most accomplished. We have a wide range of horses and ponies from 12hh to  17hh.
• We offer riding ranging from 4-5 hours a day, including our adventurous hill rides and beach rides.
• Most of our bookings are repeat and indeed two of our Girl Grooms. Maggie and Anna originally came on riding holidays
• All meals and supervision are included.
• Evening entertainment could include games, videos, quizzes or the occasional trip to the cinema or swimming pool.

• Holidays normally run from Sunday to Saturday, however we can adapt this to fit in with any requirements you may have.

Beach Ride
Travel to the famous Holy Island to ride across the sands and see the birds and seals, then gallop along the amazing expanse of beautiful beach and splash in the surf. For the brave, a bare-back swim in the bracing North Sea is always exhilarating! - as featured on National TV.

• We can also collect holidaymakers from Edinburgh and Newcastle airports at a cost of £100 return, and from Berwick railway station at £30 return
